Applied Computer Graphics and its students have won many awards for animation, design, and video games. Most prestigious is the Telly Award we received last summer for our animation for the National Science Foundation funded PBS documentary 400 Years of the Telescope from the Emmy Award winning Interstellar Studios.
In the opening of 400 Years of the Telescope we reconstructed Stonehenge, created the celestial crystal sphere and constellations, and modeled the solar system and galaxy all of which was put into motion with special effects to capture the audiences’ attention.
In the documentary, we produced instructive models and animations detailing basic and advanced telescope function, astronomical models and animations, and conceptual diagrams and animations.
Our talented of instructors and students can produce a variety of media products utilizing professionally teams sized based on need (from a few to over fifty students and staff) to produce in a timely manner outstanding work.
